Celebrations for Hampshire Small Businesses at The All Star Small Business Awards 2019.

A Night of Celebrations for the ‘Cream of Hampshire’s Business Crop’ at the All Star Small Business Awards and over £1000 raised for a Local Charity.

Thursday 26th September was a fantastic night for Hampshire small businesses, as the All Star Small Business Awards made their return for the second year.

One hundred and twenty business owners and professionals arrived dressed in their best, for an evening of celebrations at East Horton Golf Club, to praise and give recognition to the achievements and successes of some of Hampshire’s finest small businesses.

Launched by All Star Marketing Club in early 2018, The All Star Small Business Awards were established to give Hampshire SME’s a platform to showcase themselves and receive acknowledgement for their achievements and the valuable role they play in the Hampshire Small Business Community.

The awards are made up of nine professional business categories: Innovation Excellence, Outstanding Team Member, Best Customer Experience, Influential Business Owner, Best Marketing Campaign, New Business of the Year, Business of the Year, All Star Member of the Year and the All Star Choice Award.

Director, Claire Payne said, “This year we received an overwhelming number of entries and the calibre was extremely high. We are very grateful to our team of impartial category sponsors (all reputable business owners themselves), who supported us in the judging process. Following a drinks reception, attendees enjoyed a delicious Mezze table buffet and dessert, before the awards ceremony commenced. The atmosphere was electric as 44 finalists awaited the results. Cheers and applause filled the room as each 2nd then 1st runner up was announced, soon followed by each overall category winner…

The evening’s merriments continued until midnight and included the auctioning of Saint’s Star, Danny Ings signed number 9 shirt, worn during the Southampton V’s Brighton game earlier in the season, as well as a raffle which included a wheelbarrow of over 30 bottles of wine, and a fantastic local live band.
