The rpc Group of Companies | Confirmed Sponsors of The All Star Small Business Awards 2019

Hampshire based Recruitment Business ‘The rpc Group of Companies‘ are the first confirmed sponsors of the All Star Small Business Awards 2019.

All Star Marketing Club is delighted to announce The rpc Group of Companies the first confirmed sponsor of The All Star Small Business Awards 2019. The rpc Group of Companies, who were previous sponsors of the Awards in 2018, have re-confirmed their support for the event again in 2019 and will be sponsoring the award for the ‘Influential Business Owner’ category.

We caught up with David Beck (Managing Director) and Anita Searle (Executive Director) of The rpc Group of Companies to find out a bit more about their business and to learn more about why they have chosen to sponsor the Awards again this year.

Tell us a bit about The rpc Group of Companies?

The rpc Group of Companies is a UK and International Recruitment Consultancy focussing in the core sectors of technical recruitment · foodservice · catering & hospitality · commercial · international · interim recruitment sectors.

We are a niche independent search and selection practice and intend to remain so. Whilst we intend to grow our business, we are committed to maintaining the close customer contact and personal involvement that comes from a compact organisation.

Our business philosophy focuses on providing our clients with tailored recruitment and consultancy services, which closely reflect their culture and business aims. We aim to be an extension of their organisation.

Why have you chosen to sponsor of the All-Star Small Business Awards 2019?

The business community is enhanced by the diverse talents and tenacity of our small business owners who provide an array of valued products and services.

As a long-standing Member of the All Star, ‘Inner Circle’ Marketing Training Programme, rpc recognises how important the feedback and support of fellow small business owners is. Sponsoring ‘The All Star Business Awards’ is an amazing way of affirming this.

Our local small businesses do not get enough recognition and this is a fantastic opportunity to change the situation. rpc are confident these Awards will become bigger and better year on year, but will always showcase the best of Small Businesses and the people behind them.

In your view what makes a small business owner worthy of the award for ‘Influential Business Owner’?

This should be:
– Someone who shows enthusiasm, ingenuity and determination.
– Someone who always goes above and beyond whether that be as an employer or a sole entrepreneur.
– Someone other people talk about and aspire to be like.
– Someone with a clear vision for their business and how it fits into the wider community always wanting to give something back by reaching out to the local and even wider community.

The winner of ‘The Influential Business Owner Award’ not only dedicates time to their own business but provides help and advice to the wider community, through whatever channel, whether it be charity work, networking, blogging or providing extra value for their clients.

What value do you believe small businesses bring to the Hampshire Business Community?

Small Businesses bring:
– Diversity and innovation to our Business Community.
– Positivity and a willingness to learn and embrace new technology
– Support for fellow small businesses and ability to provide a personal service
– Being more flexible and accommodating than a lot of larger businesses.
– An ability to adapt to circumstances which may be out of their control

We are very pleased to welcome such and established and well regarded Hampshire business to our Sponsor Team and would like to thank them for their continued support of the All Star Small Business Awards and the Hampshire Small Business Community.

The rpc Group of Companies will take an impartial view in co-judging the Influential Business Owner Award entries and will join us on stage in September to announce the category award winner.
