Hampshire Businesses Celebrate BIG WINS at the FIRST EVER All Star Small Business Awards!

On the evening of Thursday 13th  September 2018, All Star Marketing Club and East Horton Golf Club played host to over 100 business professionals from a variety of Hampshire Small Businesses, for the first ever All Star Small Business Awards.

Launched by All Star Marketing Club in early 2018, The All Star Small Business Awards were established to give Hampshire Small Businesses a platform to be judged and receive recognition for their outstanding contribution to the Hampshire Small Business Community. The awards are made up of 10 professional business award categories: Innovation Excellence, Team Member of the Year, Best Customer Experience, Influential Business Owner, Best Marketing Campaign, Collaboration of the Year, Best New Business, Best Established Business, Influential Business Owner, All Star Member of the Year and the All Star Choice Award.

Each award was judged by All Star Marketing Club on very specific criteria, designed to appraise each business on the basis of tangible attributes which lend themselves to their entered award category. Each finalist and subsequent winner was independently verified and endorsed by an unbiased category sponsor.

As guests arrived in their finery, they were greeted with a drinks reception and networking opportunity, accompanied by tasty canapes from the Little Kitchen Company, magician Marcus Bailey and live music from Ollie WadeSally Golden Photography was also there to capture the event as it unfolded.

As 7.30pm arrived the guests took their seats to receive an inspiring, motivational talk from Action Coach, Jeff Shrimpton and an introduction to the chosen event charity partner, Breast Cancer Haven Wessex, followed by the eagerly anticipated awards ceremony.

The atmosphere was electric as 31 finalists awaited the results. As the winners were announced, cheers and applause filled the room as they each made their way to the stage to receive their award and deserved recognition. The WINNERS are…

Victoria Vickery, Managing Director and Founder of All Star Marketing Club had this to say “At All Star Marketing Club we work with hundreds of Hampshire Business owners who have some very special businesses. We established these awards so that we could give them and other Small Hampshire Businesses a platform to share what’s great about what they do, and the value they offer their customers, affiliates and the small business community, and to give them an opportunity to receive recognition for that. We also offer free marketing training to local charity Breast Cancer Haven, Wessex, so it was a brilliant opportunity to help them raise awareness and funds to support their valuable work.

It was extremely exciting and humbling to see the level of support for this event, not just from those who entered, but many other Hampshire Businesses who sponsored the event, gave prizes for our raffle and generally took an interest and came out in support of their peers. We have an amazing local business community who really embraced and encouraged our vision for this annual event. We’re already planning 2019.”

All in all the All Star Small Business Awards were a huge success and a positive addition to the annual business awards calendar. Entries for 2019 open on 14th February 2019. Watch this space!
